No. We teach you everything at the briefing, and you have a guide in the raft.

Not necessarily. If you can, you will feel more at ease, but people who cannot have a great time too. Tell us beforehand and we seat you next to the guide. The wetsuit, helmet, life jacket and an experienced guide make you feel safe.

Every raft has an IRF-certified guide with hundreds of runs on the river and experience with families and children.

No. The Buzău is rated class II–III, and the stretch called the “Washing Machine” class III+. Professional gear, a briefing made for this river and a guide who keeps telling you what comes next make the run safe. You can fall out of the raft, usually when you are not listening to the guide.

Usually not. It depends a lot on the guide, the water level and the people in the raft. Even when it happens, it is part of rafting and can be quite spectacular. If you like, we flip on purpose. 🙂

It depends. When the river is high after rain or snowmelt, any time works. Otherwise we raft while water is released from the Siriu dam. That usually happens every day, and we learn the time and tell you the evening before.

A run starts from 4 people. If you are 1–3, we add you to a group. The rafts take 6, 7 or 8 people; if you want a raft just for you, we run private trips too, at a price we agree together.

230 lei per adult and 200 lei for children under 15. It includes the gear, the guide, the transfer to the river and a shower at the base. Photos and videos on the water are not included; you can order them when you book or on the day.

From age 7; younger too, if the parents ask. We have gear in their sizes and our guides are used to children. We also run rafting camps for children.

We have one run, from Nehoiașu to Valea Lupului: 14.5 km, about 3 hours, through the “Washing Machine” rapid.

Swimwear, a towel, flip-flops and shampoo for the shower. We have all the gear: shoes, wetsuit, helmet, life jacket. On hot days you can wear shorts and a lycra top.

Tell us before booking and, depending on the condition, we will find the best option together.

At the base, at Pensiunea La Lac, or straight at Lake Siriu, at the starting point set for that day.

200 lei per adult and 170 lei for children under 15, the same for SUP and kayak. An outing starts from 5 people, and groups of more than 10 get a discount.

We have 22 boards: 12 inflatable and 10 rigid fibreglass ones, in different sizes, chosen by each person’s weight.

Sit-on-top kayaks: you sit on them, not inside. They have 3 seats that can be moved: paddle on your own, as two, or two adults with a child.

Not at all. You have a life jacket that keeps you afloat, a leash that keeps you by the board if you fall in, and a guide.

No. We teach you at the briefing; a few minutes after you get on the water you will be standing.

We give you the life jacket and leash. If it is too cold for swimwear, we give you a wetsuit too.

Leave your car in the base yard car park, under video surveillance. Leave your things in the car, at the base or in the minibus that takes you to the water.

Yes. The base has hot showers, changing rooms and toilets.

Yes. After every outing, the wetsuits, helmets, life jackets and shoes are washed and disinfected.
